Baja California advances protection strategies for children in mobility

Authorities in Baja California are advancing strategies to protect children and adolescents in situations of human mobility. During the first ordinary session of the Commission for the Integral Protection of Children and Adolescents in the Context of Mobility (SIPINNA), officials discussed strengthening public policies through a transversal institutional network.

Key objectives include ensuring the right to identity through official documentation, access to education via various modalities, and guaranteeing healthcare. The commission also unanimously approved a name change for the organization to better reflect its focus on children in mobility contexts.
