Baja California faces electricity supply concerns and outages

The National Action Party (PAN) has issued formal complaints regarding frequent power outages in Baja California, particularly affecting Mexicali where high temperatures increase the necessity for continuous service. State leader Liz Mata criticized the current administration, citing the lack of basic services as a major issue for the state.

Federal Deputy Eva María Vázquez noted that these electrical interruptions cause economic damage to households by damaging appliances and electrical equipment. The PAN has reportedly initiated management with the central offices of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) to seek a resolution to the supply failures.
