Baja California Judicial Power advances modernization and legal training
The Judicial Power of Baja California is implementing several initiatives to modernize and specialize its legal services. The institution is conducting an academic seminar on 'Amparo' matters through its Judicial Training School. This hybrid seminar, which includes both in-person and virtual sessions, aims to update the legal preparation of judicial personnel, litigators, and the general public.
Simultaneously, the judiciary is expanding its electronic interconnection system with courts in several Mexican states, including Veracruz, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, Mexico City, Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, Morelos, State of Mexico, and Baja California Sur. Currently, 90 percent of courts in Baja California can utilize this digital exchange to send and receive electronic requests (exhortos) in civil, family, commercial, and labor matters. This digital integration is intended to reduce response times, lower administrative costs, and decrease the use of printed documentation.
