Baja California strengthens cultural ties with San Diego

Baja California’s Secretary of Culture, Alma Delia Ábrego Ceballos, conducted a working tour in San Diego to strengthen binational cultural ties. During the visit, two letters of intent were signed to expand the artistic agenda between the Mexican state and San Diego institutions.

The first agreement was signed with the San Diego Museum of Art to establish a joint agenda for artistic exchange and collaborative projects. The second agreement was reached with Casa de México in Balboa Park, a non-profit organization, to increase the presence of Baja Californian literature, music, and visual arts within their programs.

Additionally, Ábrego Ceballos met with San Diego County officials, including the Chief Binational Affairs Officer, to discuss the October Festival and potential collaborations in creative industries for 2027.
