The municipal Civil Protection and Risk Management office in Baja California Sur is continuously monitoring weather conditions as a low‑pressure system in the Pacific develops into tropical storm “Elida.” Officials said the storm currently poses no risk to the state, but temperatures are expected to remain between 35 °C and 40 °C, with isolated rain chances and wind gusts up to 60 km/h in Los Cabos.
