Baja California Sur delivers 81 vehicles and machinery to state agencies
The government of Baja California Sur has delivered 81 new units, including vehicles and heavy machinery, to various state agencies to strengthen field operations and public services. Governor Víctor Manuel Castro Cosío led the official ceremony, noting that this represents the largest single delivery of equipment during his current administration.
The acquisition was funded by revenue generated from the lease of the former Casa de Gobierno de El Caimancito. The governor emphasized that the use of these public assets allows the state to address priority needs in various municipalities through responsible financial management.
The distribution of the units includes: - 39 units for the State Attorney General's Office (Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado) - 12 vehicles for the Secretariat of Public Security - 4 heavy machines for the State Road Board (Junta Estatal de Caminos) - 7 units for the State College of Scientific and Technological Studies - 4 units each for the State Institute of Culture and the State Institute of Sports - 3 units for the Secretariat of Urban Planning, Infrastructure, Mobility, Environment, and Natural Resources - 2 vehicles for the State DIF System - 6 units for the Undersecretariat of Administration.
