Baja California Sur expands luxury tourism and hospitality offerings

The tourism and luxury sectors in Baja California Sur, Mexico, are seeing significant expansion through new hospitality and retail developments.

In La Paz, the Perla La Paz, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is scheduled to open on October 20, 2026. Located on the historic Malacon, the 90-room hotel will integrate 1940s Art Deco character with contemporary design and will serve as the first Hilton property in the city. The region is also seeing growth in golf tourism, highlighted by the El Cortés Golf Club at Puerta Cortés, a Gary Player-designed course, and the adjacent Hotel Indigo La Paz Puerta Cortés.

In Los Cabos, luxury jeweler Tiffany & Co. has opened a new boutique in the Ánima Village commercial district. The boutique features four distinct salons designed with artisanal finishes and high-end decor, including pieces by Perla Valtierra and Michael van Beuren, as part of the brand's expansion within the Mexican luxury market.
