Bajs bike-sharing system partners with MultiSport in Zagreb
The public bicycle system Bajs in Zagreb has announced a new partnership with the wellbeing platform MultiSport Hrvatska. Under this agreement, active MultiSport cardholders can link their Bajs accounts to receive two free bike rentals per day, with each ride lasting up to 30 minutes. This initiative aims to integrate cycling into the daily routines of users, allowing them to combine cycling with other sports or recreational activities.
Since its launch in August 2025, the Bajs system has recorded over 1.75 million rentals and currently has 138,510 registered users. The fleet consists of 2,000 bicycles distributed across 196 stations.
In a separate discussion regarding Zagreb's urban mobility, psychiatrist Herman Vukušić has criticized the city's current traffic policies. He expressed concerns over increasing traffic congestion and the expansion of cycling infrastructure, suggesting that the prioritization of bicycles over motorists could lead to a political movement of resistance among drivers, similar to trends seen in other European countries.
