Bačka Palanka hosts reception for Serbian national kayakers

Branislav Šušnica, the president of Bačka Palanka, organized a reception to honor members of the Serbian national kayaking team for their successful 2026 season. The team secured a total of nine medals across various international competitions.

Attendees at the event included Marko Dragosavljević, a silver medalist at the senior world championships in Poznań and a three-time silver medalist at the international cup in Moscow, and Veljko Vještica, a gold medalist at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto. Simo Boltić, the coach of the Serbian men's kayaking team and president of the Vojvodina Kayak-Canoe Federation, was also present.

Strahinja Dragosavljević, who won gold at both the Mediterranean Games and the European Championships for juniors and young seniors in Szeged, was unable to attend due to sporting obligations; a gift was presented to his brother, Marko, on his behalf. The athletes expressed their commitment to preparing for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
