Baker Mayfield contract talks stall with Buccaneers amid health concerns

Quarterback Baker Mayfield is entering the final year of his three‑year, $100 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both the player and the organization said negotiations are “not anywhere close” to an agreement, and Mayfield has set a deadline for a new contract before training camp, refusing to negotiate once the season starts.
