Green Bay Packers defeat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-14

The Green Bay Packers defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-14 in a Week 4 matchup. Jordan Love led the Packers with two touchdown passes, helping the team improve to a 2-2 record. Despite the win, Green Bay suffered a significant blow as linebacker Edgerrin Cooper sustained a season-ending Achilles injury.

The Buccaneers fell to 0-4 following the loss. The team is currently navigating a quarterback crisis after starter Baker Mayfield sustained a dislocated thumb, which is expected to sideline him for three to six weeks. In his place, undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels made his first career start, completing 19 of 27 passes for 148 yards and one touchdown.

While Daniels showed promise, the Buccaneers' winless start has raised questions regarding the team's direction and potential for a high draft pick in 2027. The Packers' victory was aided by improvements in their offensive line, which included the recent addition of veteran Laken Tomlinson.
