Bakeries in Vancouver and London release Mid-Autumn Festival mooncakes

Bakeries in Vancouver and London are introducing specialized mooncake offerings to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival on September 25, 2026.

In Metro Vancouver, several establishments are providing diverse options. Beaucoup Bakery is offering Maison sets featuring flavors like Raspberry Pistachio and Black Sesame Roasted Corn, alongside a large Cantonese-style Grande mooncake. La Saison de Patisserie is releasing a six-piece Snowy Lava Mooncake box including Hong Kong Milk Tea and Mango Pomelo flavors. Level V Bakery is providing a four-piece vegan selection featuring Red Bean, Matcha Mung Bean, Ube Pineapple, and Taro.

In London, Xi Home Dumplings Bay is focusing on the tradition of the large sharing mooncake. Founder Wenjun Xiang is introducing a handmade 6-inch, 500g mooncake designed to be sliced and shared at the table, a practice intended to symbolize reunion. The limited release will offer flavor combinations such as Pineapple, Salted Egg Yolk and Pork Floss, or Ube and Taro.
