Baki Ersoy petitions parliament over damaged school in Talas

MHP Kayseri Deputy Baki Ersoy has submitted a written parliamentary inquiry to Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin regarding the status of a school and teacher housing in the Koçcağız neighborhood of Talas.

The structures were reportedly damaged following an earthquake and have since been closed. Currently, students from the area are being redirected to schools in the Kanber neighborhood. Ersoy is seeking clarification on the current condition of the buildings, whether there are plans for reinforcement or reconstruction, and if there are any efforts to restart educational activities within the Koçcağız neighborhood so students can study locally.
