Bakir Izetbegović faces pressure over FBiH government formation

Political discussions regarding the formation of the government in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina have intensified following recent elections. Reports indicate that Abdurahman Hodžić Hodža, an influential figure in the Tuzla Canton with close ties to SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović, has reportedly set conditions for the party's cooperation.

According to sources, Hodža is demanding that the position of Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina be filled by a candidate from the Tuzla Canton. This demand is viewed as a strategic signal to political partners, including the Party for BiH and Željko Komšić's Democratic Front, during negotiations over ministerial positions and government departments.
