Bakir Izetbegović presents SDA election program amid regional security concerns

Bakir Izetbegović, president of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), has presented the '3x50' program during a gathering of the party's Sarajevo Cantonal Organization. Addressing candidates for upcoming general elections, Izetbegović emphasized the importance of establishing a strong political vertical from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina down to lower levels of government to meet current geopolitical challenges.

Izetbegović criticized the current ruling coalition, known as the 'Trojka', citing poor economic performance and various scandals. He argued that the upcoming elections are critical due to the erosion of the global order and the presence of leaders in the Balkans who promote ethnic cleansing and celebrate war criminals.

In a related political development, Isak called for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Croatia, and Albania to form a united front against Serbian nationalism. Isak warned that the glorification of war criminal Ratko Mladić in Serbia and the Republika Srpska entity has moved beyond marginal nationalism and now poses a direct threat to the constitutional order, security, and territorial integrity of the region. He urged the European Union to implement sanctions against the public glorification of individuals convicted of genocide and crimes against humanity.
