Bakkeveen Walking Dinner and Kortrijk Musical Tour Planned for August 2026

A walking dinner will take place in the Dutch village of Bakkeveen on Saturday 22 August 2026. Participants will follow a route through the village, receiving a simple dish at each stop. Registration is open until 14 August 2026 via an online form, with a fee of €5 for children (up to 12 years) and €15 for adults. Payments are handled by Vlooienmarkt‑Bakkeveen and cancellations are non‑refundable.

On Saturday 8 August 2026, the Belgian city of Kortrijk will host a guided musical city walk called “Wandelen op de beats van Kortrijk”. The two‑hour tour starts at 14:30 at the Belfort on the Grote Markt and combines historical anecdotes with audio excerpts. Tickets cost €6 for adults and €4 for children up to 12 years, and advance registration is required through Visit Kortrijk or UiTinVlaanderen.
