Baladin secures 16.4 million euro investment for expansion
Baladin, the Piedmontese agricultural brewery founded by Teo Musso, has secured 16.4 million euros through a new funding round. The investment comes from a Dutch fintech entrepreneur who has acquired a minority stake in the company.
The capital is earmarked for a four-pronged growth strategy: doubling production capacity, accelerating commercial operations, enhancing digital infrastructure, and expanding the retail network. This expansion includes the planned opening of six new locations, with upcoming sites in Milan and Rome joining existing outlets in Piozzo, Turin, Turin Airport, Rome, and Cuneo.
Additionally, the group is undergoing a corporate simplification to integrate its restaurant activities, currently operating under the Open Baladin brand. This integration is expected to bring the group's total turnover to over 22 million euros by the end of this year, with the brewery portion generating approximately 16 million euros.
