Baldissero d’Alba Search Continues for Missing 10‑Year‑Old Boy

A 10‑year‑old boy from a frazione of Baldissero d’Alba in the Cuneo province disappeared on the evening of 4 August after leaving his home around 20:30 to play in the courtyard. His parents reported him missing and local authorities activated the provincial missing‑persons plan.

Carabinieri, fire brigade units, and volunteers from the civil‑protection agency have been conducting continuous searches. The operation employs drones, specialized canine units, and the fire‑brigade helicopter “Drago” to sweep the surrounding woods, trails, ponds and rural areas. Additional reinforcements from other northern Italian regions are expected. As of now, the boy has not been found and the search remains ongoing.
