Baleares holiday schedule for December 2026

In 2026, Spain's Constitution Day on December 6 will fall on a Sunday. In the Balearic Islands, this holiday will not be moved to Monday, December 7, meaning Monday will be a normal working and school day for most of Mallorca.

However, several municipalities—including Andratx, Ariany, Banyalbufar, Consell, Esporles, Can Picafort (Santa Margalida), and Vilafranca de Bonany—have designated Monday, December 7, as a local holiday.

Tuesday, December 8, remains an official non-working day for the Immaculate Conception. Workers may be able to create a four-day break by using vacation days on Monday, connecting the weekend with the Tuesday holiday. Other upcoming general holidays in the archipelago include Christmas Day on December 25 and the Second Day of Christmas on December 26.
