Balearic Islands invests 114 million euros in educational infrastructure

The Government of the Balearic Islands is continuing its investment in educational infrastructure, with a total exceeding 114 million euros in major works managed by IBISEC during the current legislature.

As part of this plan, Education Minister Antoni Vera laid the foundation stone for the expansion and renovation of CEIP Sant Carles, a project valued at 4.3 million euros. Currently, the regional executive has more than 71 million euros in educational infrastructure investments under execution.

The Pitiusas islands, comprising Ibiza and Formentera, account for 48 million euros of the ongoing or projected educational investments. This initiative is part of the ‘Illes en Transformació’ plan, which aims to improve educational quality through better facilities and resources across the four islands of the archipelago.
