Balenciaga and SEGA partner for Sonic the Hedgehog collection

Balenciaga and SEGA have announced a collaborative fashion collection centered on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Unveiled in connection with the Tokyo Game Show, the partnership blends luxury fashion with gaming iconography.

The collection features ready-to-wear pieces and merchandise, including nylon bombers, oversized T-shirts, zip-up hoodies, and brimmed caps. Some items utilize heavy metal lettering for the Sonic name and incorporate SEGA fonts with Balenciaga logomarks.

A Japan-exclusive selection, consisting of a varsity jacket and a long-sleeved T-shirt featuring original graphic artwork, became available in select stores and online in Japan on September 15. A wider global release of the collection is scheduled for September 22.
