Bali Gapura Marina opens, expanding yacht tourism hub

The new Bali Gapura Marina at Benoa Port officially opened, adding two docks that can accommodate up to 75 yachts, including super‑yachts up to 200 feet long. The facility was developed by PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva, a subsidiary of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), in partnership with PT Marina Development Indonesia.

The marina is part of the Bali Maritime Tourism Hub (BMTH) initiative. Five docks are planned for completion by 2027, which will raise total capacity to 180 yachts. Amenities include international‑standard power and water pedestals, a travel and concierge lounge, and streamlined customs, immigration, and quarantine services that allow captains to self‑check‑in and check‑out.

The project aims to strengthen Indonesia’s position as a global destination for yachting and maritime tourism in the Asia‑Pacific region.
