Bali police arrest man for snatching gold necklace from Indian tourist

Police in Bali have arrested a 26-year-old man, identified as INM, for the theft of a gold necklace belonging to an Indian tourist in Seminyak, Badung. The victim, Ghudaiya Ankit, reported that the suspect approached him from behind on a motorcycle and forcibly snatched a 25-gram, 22-karat gold necklace on August 18.

Following an investigation that included reviewing CCTV footage, the Kuta Police Team apprehended the suspect. INM has reportedly admitted to committing three similar gold jewelry thefts in the Seminyak area.
