Bali United signs Jay Herdman from Cavalry FC

Bali United has officially signed midfielder Jay Herdman from the Canadian Premier League club Cavalry FC for the 2026/27 Indonesia Super League season.

Herdman, the son of Indonesia national team coach John Herdman, joins the club following a successful tenure with Cavalry FC, where he made 36 appearances and helped the team secure the 2024 CPL title. While the transfer involves a fee, Cavalry FC has not disclosed the specific financial details of the deal. Herdman previously played for Cavalry FC on loan from MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps FC before joining the Canadian club on a permanent basis in 2025.
