Balingen Metal Festival and Lünen Ride & Rock Bike Event Draw Thousands

From July 9‑11, 2026, the RVBang Festival turned Balingen, Germany into a metal hub, attracting about 5,000 fans and selling out ahead of the event. The three‑day festival featured cash‑less payments, a cooling spray‑shower, and performances by bands such as Tales of Valvoram, H.E.A.T., and hard‑rock legend Michael Schenker. A highlight was guitarist Mitch’s on‑stage marriage proposal, which the crowd celebrated.

Meanwhile, from July 9‑12, 2026, Lünen in the Ruhr region hosted the Bundesradsporttreffen, Germany’s largest grassroots cycling gathering. Over a thousand cyclists participated in road, gravel and vintage rides, youth programs, and an expo. The four‑day “Ride & Rock” festival revived the historic City‑Radrennen after a 25‑year pause, drawing both seasoned riders and local families.

Both events showcase Germany’s vibrant summer festival scene, combining music, sport, and community activities.
