Balkan music scene announces guitar festival competition and charity concert

The regional music centre MC Pavarotti has opened applications for young bands to take part in the 12th Gitarijada "Na putu za jug". Groups from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and North Macedonia with members aged 40 or under may apply between 11 May and 12 June 2026. Selected finalists will perform in August 2026, and the winning band will receive a seven‑day studio recording session and other awards.

Separately, a humanitarian concert is scheduled for 27 May in Belgrade’s BITEFARTCAFE, featuring regional pop stars Aleksandra Radović, Vlado Georgiev, Željko Vasić and Ana Bebić. The event aims to raise funds for a young girl named Sanja, uniting music and charity across the Balkans.
