Balkan Show Jumping Championship held in Thessaloniki

The Balkan Show Jumping Championship is currently taking place in Thessaloniki at the Ippos Club, organized by the Hellenic Equestrian Federation and the Macedonia Equestrian Center. The event features approximately 150 riders and horses from nine Balkan nations, including Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Cyprus, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, Serbia, Slovenia, and Greece.

In the Amazon category team competition, Greece secured the gold medal with a total of 16 penalty points across two rounds. The team consisted of Katerina Doubodel, Demitri Igglesi, Marianna Marinopoulou, and Argyro Papageorgiou. Turkey took second place, while Bulgaria finished third.

In the Young Riders team competition, Turkey won the gold medal, followed by Romania in second and Greece in third. In the Adult team competition, Croatia claimed the gold medal with only 4 penalty points, followed by Romania in second and Turkey in third, with Greece finishing in fourth place.
