Balkans launch new tourist attractions: Kotor Cable Car and Kablar Skywalk

The Kotor Cable Car, linking Dubrovnik in Croatia with the mountain station Kuk on Lovćen in Montenegro, offers an 11‑minute ride that takes visitors from the Adriatic coast to panoramic mountain views of Boka Kotorska and the surrounding landscape. Promoted as a one‑day excursion, the cable car provides a dramatic shift in perspective, allowing tourists to experience the sea, cliffs and historic towns from above.

In Serbia, the Kablar Skywalk opened on Kablar mountain near Čačak. The glass observation deck, situated at about 800 m altitude, offers sweeping views of the Ovčarsko‑Kablarska gorge. Entrance is free until 7 August, after which tickets range from 300 dinars for children and seniors to 500 dinars for adults, with group rates available. Officials invite both domestic visitors and international guests to experience the new attraction, describing it as a must‑see destination for nature lovers and photographers.
