Balıkesir students win provincial Quran recitation and Hafizlık competitions

The Balıkesir Provincial Muftiate concluded its provincial finals for the Hafizlık and Quran Recitation competitions. The event aimed to encourage Quranic education and beautiful recitation among students attending Quran courses.

In the Hafizlık category, Hayrunnisa Yüksel from the Karesi Esma Hatun Girls' Quran Course and Mücahit Ada from the Karesi Yıldırım Mosque Quran Course were named provincial winners. In the beautiful recitation category, Erva Begüm Uzun from the Bandırma Bereketli Boarding Girls' Quran Course and Muhammed Nazif Sarı from the Bandırma Tekke Ali Rıza El Bezzaz Mosque Quran Course secured first place in their respective categories.

Provincial Mufti Hasan Hayri Yaşar congratulated the participants and presented gifts. The winners will move on to represent Balıkesir in the regional finals.
