Ballet companies announce auditions for winter productions

Two dance companies in the United Kingdom and Ireland have announced upcoming auditions for winter ballet productions.

New Creations Collective is seeking two male and two female dancers for performances of ‘Swan Lake’ and ‘The Nutcracker’ in Kent. The audition is scheduled for 25 September 2026 at The Howard Venue. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and possess strong classical technique and stamina. Performance dates are set between 29 October and 6 December 2026.

In Ireland, Zona Dance Company is holding auditions for its production of ‘The Nutcracker’ in Letterkenny on 12 September. The company is looking for 36 to 40 young dancers aged 10 and older who are at a Grade 4 ballet level or higher. Director Jessica Peoples noted that the casting process will prioritize both technical strength and expressive performance quality.
