Ballet de Santiago expands Dublin run of Swan Lake
The Ballet de Santiago has completed a successful debut in Dublin at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre with its production of ‘Swan Lake’. Following high audience demand, organizers added an extra performance on Sunday, August 23, bringing the total number of scheduled shows to eight.
The production features choreography by Iván Nagy and Marilyn Burr, accompanied by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra under the direction of Pedro-Pablo Prudencio. The company’s Irish engagement is part of an international tour that includes a planned arrival in London in 2027.
Artistic director César Morales Anderson expressed excitement regarding the success of the Dublin run, noting the historical significance of the company’s presence in Europe. The performances feature principal dancers including Katherine Rodríguez, Emmanuel Vazquez, Laleska Seidel, and Felipe Arango.
