Ballon d'Or nominees announced for individual categories

As the 70th Ballon d'Or ceremony approaches in London this October, discussions regarding individual award nominees are intensifying. The French Football Federation has announced candidates for the best young player and the best goalkeeper.

In the goalkeeper category, Emiliano Martínez and David Raya are prominent nominees. Raya, playing for Arsenal, has won the Premier League Golden Glove for two consecutive years, while Martínez, currently with Chelsea, has been recognized as one of the world's top keepers over the last five years.

For the best young player, nominees include Junior Crupi, Ayub Bouaddi, and Joan Mansampi. Additionally, Ousmane Dembélé expressed his belief in an interview with France Football that the Ballon d'Or trophy will remain with a Paris Saint-Germain player, citing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Harry Kane, and Kylian Mbappé as top contenders.
