Bally’s considers sale of $1.1 billion Las Vegas development project
Bally’s Corporation is considering the sale of its $1.1 billion multi-phase mixed-use development project located next to the future Athletics ballpark in Las Vegas. While an unnamed group has expressed interest in acquiring the development rights, Bally’s has stated it is prepared to proceed with the first phase of construction independently if a deal is not reached before an August 20, 2026, meeting of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority.
The project has been restructured into three distinct phases. The first phase includes the $2 billion Athletics ballpark, a central utility plant, and a 1,500-space parking garage. The second phase focuses on a mixed-use podium at the northwest corner of the site, featuring a three-level parking garage, a plaza for retail, dining, and entertainment, and a 2,500-seat theater. Subsequent phases are intended to include a hotel, casino, and additional retail space.
The Clark County Commission recently approved land use permits for 26 acres of the site to ensure pedestrian access and infrastructure. However, the full development remains subject to further approvals, including a separate review by the Clark County Commission on September 16 and necessary clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration.
