Balmuda renews flagship toaster lineup with new cooking modes

Balmuda has released fully renewed versions of its flagship BALMUDA The Toaster and the high-end BALMUDA The Toaster Pro. The updates include price increases, with the standard model rising to 39,600 yen and the Pro model to 46,200 yen.

The new models introduce specialized cooking modes. A new ‘sourdough mode’ is designed for high-density or high-moisture breads such as sourdough, campagne, and bagels. Additionally, a ‘steam deli mode’ has been added, utilizing reheating technology to crisp up fried foods and prepared side dishes.

In terms of functionality, the previous separate modes for French bread and croissants have been integrated into a single ‘bakery mode.’ The ‘classic mode’ has also been streamlined to two temperature settings: 170°C and 230°C. The Pro model retains its ‘salamander mode’ for rapid surface browning.
