Balneário Camboriú and Camboriú Expand Municipal Police Operations to Boost Local Security

The municipality of Balneário Camboriú conducted its latest "Operação BC + Segura" in the Pioneiros and Ariribá neighborhoods. Twelve commercial premises were inspected, resulting in three night‑time infractions and no serious violations. Traffic teams set up four checkpoints, stopping 71 vehicles, issuing 21 traffic fines and impounding three cars. Municipal crews also cleared accumulated solid waste and inspected an abandoned dental clinic. The operation involved the municipal security secretariat, traffic agency, urban planning, social assistance, tax authority, health surveillance and public works units.

In the neighboring city of Camboriú, the police carried out "Operação Choque de Ordem" in the Tabuleiro district. The joint effort of the Military Police, social assistance, health surveillance, tax authority and public works inspected local businesses, targeted irregular waste disposal, and conducted preventive checks on persons and vehicles. The action increased police presence in strategic points to bolster community safety and enforce administrative regulations.
