Balneário Camboriú municipal guards rescue choking infant

Municipal guards in Balneário Camboriú rescued a baby who was choking on breast milk. The incident occurred in the Estaleirinho neighborhood when the mother, seeking help after the child showed signs of distress, encountered a patrolling patrol car.

One of the guards performed airway obstruction maneuvers to restore the infant's breathing. The team then prioritized transport to the Barra neighborhood's Urgent Care Unit (UPA da Barra), where the child received specialized medical attention and was stabilized.
