Balneário Camboriú road closures for gas, sewer and paving works
Motorists in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil, are advised to follow new traffic patterns on Tuesday, 30 May, as the city carries out a series of infrastructure projects. Partial lane closures are scheduled on Avenida Atlântica between streets 2500 and 1001 from 08:30‑12:00 and 13:30‑17:00 for non‑destructive gas‑pipeline installation, and on Avenida Atlântica near Rua 3000 from 08:00‑12:00 for electrical‑grid upgrades. Avenida Brasil near Rua 3550 will be closed all day for sewage‑system works, and Avenida Normando Tedesco will see restrictions from 07:00‑18:00 for construction traffic.
Full closures affect Rua Juruva at Avenida das Gaivotas, a segment of Rua Panamá between Avenida Palestina and Rua Paquistão from 08:00, Rua Cegonha at Rua Caracará from 08:00‑17:30, and the intersection of Rodovia Rodesindo Pavan with Rua Napoleão Vieira and Rua Vergílio Rodrigues Pereira for the removal of Festa da Tainha structures. Additional temporary blocks for water‑network work are listed on several streets, including Rua Venezuela, Rua Uganda, Rua 701, Rua 1111 and Rua Jordânia, each with specific time windows. Drivers should respect signage, use alternative routes where possible, and be aware that severe weather could suspend some activities.
