Balneário Camboriú task force removes obsolete wires from Avenida Atlântica

A task force in Balneário Camboriú has removed over half a ton of loose and obsolete wires from Avenida Atlântica. This weekly operation, conducted by Cosip, aims to improve pedestrian and cyclist safety while reducing visual pollution. Since March 2025, the initiative has successfully collected more than 35 tons of cabling from the area.

The cleanup effort involves a multi-agency team including Celesc, various telecommunications companies, and local municipal secretariats. Following the current progress, teams will move toward Rua 3300 to conclude the works on this avenue.
