Brazil reports multiple incidents of violence and public safety operations

Various incidents of violence and public safety operations have been reported across Brazil. In Balneário Camboriú, the Municipal Guard launched 'Operação GM 50' to increase preventive policing in key areas. This follows an incident where a woman was threatened by an intoxicated man on Avenida Central.

In Maceió, digital influencer Bárbara Souza reported being dragged approximately 100 meters by her ex-partner while holding onto a car door, an incident that drew a formal repudiation from the Movimento Por Mulheres Brasil. In Paraná, separate cases of domestic violence were reported in Califórnia and Apucarana, involving physical assaults and property damage.

In Campo Grande, two distinct incidents involving racial slurs and threats were recorded: one involving a trans woman directed at a federal highway officer, and another involving a man who insulted a passenger on a public bus. Additionally, in Alagoas, a woman sought police assistance following frequent domestic assaults by her partner.
