Balneário Pinhal police arrest three following weapon and drug seizure

Three individuals—two men and one woman—were arrested in Balneário Pinhal following a police operation in the Magistério neighborhood. The arrests occurred after a suspect wearing an electronic monitoring device attempted to flee from the 8th Military Police Battalion, eventually hiding a loaded revolver under a house.

During the subsequent search, police intercepted a woman and a second man who had attempted to alert the suspect of the officers' approach. Officers recovered a .38 caliber revolver with suppressed serial numbers, various types of ammunition, marijuana, precision scales, and communication equipment. The suspects, who have prior criminal records including homicide, drug trafficking, and robbery, were taken to the Tramandaí Police Station.
