Baloch Yakjehti Committee backs Balochistan protests

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has announced its full support for protests organized by the Balochistan National Party (BNP) across Balochistan. The demonstrations are directed against alleged bombings carried out by Pakistani jet aircraft in Sorab and Gwadar on August 13.

The BYC expressed support for the BNP’s call to protest the alleged deaths of Baloch civilians, including women, children, and elders. The committee characterized the situation as a humanitarian crisis and described the alleged state actions as “barbarism” and “continuous oppression.”

In a statement, the BYC appealed to the Baloch population to participate in the demonstrations and urged the international community to hold Pakistan accountable. The committee further alleged that the region faces routine military operations, curfews, and enforced disappearances.
