Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce expands support for local entrepreneurs

The Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce is implementing new initiatives to support local entrepreneurs and increase visibility for small businesses. Kelli Redmond-Bagby, the Chamber’s Director of Marketing, stated that the organization is focusing on connecting businesses with industry leaders, resources, and partnerships.

New industry-specific business councils have been established to provide specialized guidance in sectors including artificial intelligence, technology, real estate, food and beverage, and women in business. These councils aim to foster professional connections and networking opportunities.

The Chamber is also organizing several upcoming events, such as the Legacy Gala Awards at Guilford Hall Brewery, which will recognize local leaders through categories like the Charm City Award and the Legacy Innovation Award. Additionally, the organization recently held a sold-out Breakfast with the Mayor at Morgan State University.
