Baltimore County resident arrested for alleged sewer harassment

A man was arrested in Baltimore County following allegations that he was living in a sewer and harassing a local woman’s children. Unique Wiggins reported that her children claimed a man was speaking to them from underground and, in one instance, chased them down the street.

Wiggins stated that after hearing repeated complaints, she investigated a sewer opening and heard someone singing. She also accused the individual of trespassing on her property and breaking into her vehicle.

Baltimore County Police confirmed the man was arrested and released on his own recognizance on October 13. While police noted that sewer lines and culverts are public property, they have issued peace orders regarding the situation. Wiggins is calling for county officials to secure sewer openings and install no-trespassing signs to ensure her family's safety.
