Baltimore Jewish Cultural Chavurah hosts discussions on Zionism and regional conflict

The Baltimore Jewish Cultural Chavurah (BJCC) is facilitating discussions on contemporary political and religious issues within its membership. Members have engaged in dialogues regarding the distinctions between liberal Zionism and anti-Zionism, specifically addressing the possibility of supporting Israel's existence while advocating for the treatment of Palestinians.

According to BJCC President Art Starr, recent discussions have also focused on the humanitarian suffering in both Israel and Gaza, as well as the debate between one-state and two-state solutions. The organization maintains a policy of not holding official positions, allowing for respectful debate among members on polarizing topics.
