Baltimore Orioles Top Pick Eric Booth Jr. Takes First Batting Practice at Camden Yards

Eric Booth Jr., the Baltimore Orioles' seventh‑overall selection in the 2026 MLB Draft, completed his first batting‑practice session at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Saturday. The 18‑year‑old left‑handed outfielder impressed with power hits to right‑field seats and expressed a bold goal of hitting the historic B&O Warehouse beyond the fence, a feat achieved only once in ballpark history by Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. during the 1993 Home Run Derby.
