Baltimore prepares for BTS concerts at M&T Bank Stadium

Baltimore is preparing for large crowds and significant traffic disruptions as the K-pop group BTS performs at M&T Bank Stadium on Monday and Tuesday. The sold-out ‘Arirang’ World Tour dates are expected to cause high traffic volumes in the downtown area.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation and the Maryland Transit Administration recommend using public transportation to navigate the area. Available transit options include the Light Rail, Metro Subway, local bus routes, and the Charm City Circulator. To assist concertgoers, the MTA will supplement Light Rail service with Express Shuttle Buses from Glen Burnie/Cromwell and Timonium Fairgrounds starting at 5 p.m. Additionally, the MARC Train Camden Line will offer a late-night southbound return service departing Camden Station at 11:55 p.m.

Drivers are advised to avoid parking in surrounding residential neighborhoods, as parking restrictions will be strictly enforced and illegal vehicles may be towed. For those driving, officials suggest using commercial garages and surface lots north of the stadium complex. Regarding stadium access, Gates E, F, and the South Gate will remain closed, while Gate A West is reserved exclusively for VIP ticket holders.
