Baltimore Ravens acquire Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens from Philadelphia Eagles
The Baltimore Ravens have acquired two-time Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens from the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade aimed at stabilizing their offensive line. The deal, which is pending a physical, sends Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick to Baltimore in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick.
Baltimore General Manager Eric DeCosta described Jurgens as a “young foundational piece” and a “great scheme and cultural fit.” The move addresses a depth crisis in Baltimore following injuries to several veteran centers. Jurgens, who has primarily played left guard recently, is expected to return to his natural center position in Baltimore.
For the Eagles, the trade comes during a period of significant transition for their offensive line, following the retirement of longtime tackle Lane Johnson and the injury of Landon Dickerson. Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman characterized the trade as a way to gain significant value and draft capital, noting the team will utilize players like Drew Kendall and Willie Lampkin to fill the void.
