Danny Pinter expected to miss significant time with Ravens

Baltimore Ravens center Danny Pinter is expected to miss an extended period of time, potentially the entire 2026 season, after suffering a torn patellar tendon during a joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings. Pinter, a 30-year-old veteran who had been competing for the starting role following the departure of Tyler Linderbaum, was carted off the field on Wednesday.

Head coach Jesse Minter acknowledged the injury but noted the organization was still awaiting further medical opinions. The injury significantly impacts the Ravens' offensive line competition as they prepare for the regular season.

With Pinter sidelined, the starting center position will likely be contested by veteran Ethan Pocic and newcomer Jovaughn Gwyn. Pocic, who is also working his way back from a previous Achilles injury, remains a primary candidate for the role.
