Baltimore Ravens Put Six on PUP List Before Training Camp

The Baltimore Ravens announced that six defensive players have been placed on the active Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list ahead of the start of training camp. The list includes two‑time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike, who is recovering from neck surgery that sidelined him for most of the 2025 season, as well as fellow defensive tackles Travis Jones and John Jenkins. Linebacker Teddye Buchanan, outside linebacker Adisa Isaac, and defensive back Bilhal Kone also began camp on the PUP list.

Madubuike has been cleared by independent spine specialists and could practice as early as next week, though the team will use the PUP designation to evaluate his conditioning. Jones is rehabbing a pectoral injury, Isaac is returning from elbow surgery, and the other players are working to regain full health.

The Ravens’ first full‑squad practice is scheduled for Wednesday, with head coach Jesse Minter overseeing a roster that must be trimmed to 53 players by August 30. The team has added veteran edge rusher Trey Hendrickson, free‑agent defensive end Calais Campbell, and several other players in the offseason, while navigating the loss of key contributors on the defensive line.

"Ravens placed Pro Bowl DT Nnamdi Madubuike on the Physically Unable to Perform list," reported ESPN, noting that Madubuike missed the last 15 games with a neck injury and had surgery in April. The PUP moves are a procedural step that keeps the players eligible for the reserve list if needed, while allowing the Ravens to assess readiness as camp progresses.
