Baltimore Ravens fall to ninth in AFC playoff standings

The Baltimore Ravens have dropped to ninth place in the AFC playoff standings following a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. After briefly holding a playoff position, the team fell behind the Bengals and the New England Patriots in the rankings.

The loss has drawn significant criticism toward head coach Jesse Minter and the coaching staff. Following a second-half shutout by Cincinnati, Hall of Famer Ed Reed criticized the team's decision-making on social media, calling it “terrible coaching decisions week in week out crazy!”

Specific scrutiny was directed at a fourth-quarter decision where the Ravens opted to attempt a fourth-and-two passing play rather than taking points or running the ball. The incomplete pass prevented the team from potentially taking the lead during a critical juncture of the game.
